A closer look at my journey and passion

Technology has always been a true passion for me: a powerful way to connect people, solve real-world problems and shape a smarter future.

After earning my diploma as an electronics technician, I went on to obtain my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Perugia in 2021.

Just a few weeks later, I began my professional journey at one of the leading IT companies in Central Italy, PCS Group.

My career path

I began my career as a Systems Engineer, working on enterprise network management and specializing in firewalls and security architectures. During this time, I also developed strong expertise in domain administration, mail services, and hybrid cloud integrations, while deepening my skills in VMware virtual environments and Microsoft cloud solutions.
My technical journey naturally evolved toward designing and implementing backup infrastructures for organizations with high data volumes and strict availability requirements. Alongside this, I focused on asset and business process management, implementing key governance solutions such as Unified Endpoint Management Systems (UEMS) and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.

Driven by a growing passion for cybersecurity, I then transitioned into a Security Engineer role and took an active part in creating a dedicated cybersecurity business unit within the company. Together with my team, we designed and implemented advanced security tools, including a proprietary threat intelligence platform and a comprehensive assessment framework to evaluate cyber risks based on international standards. This experience allowed me to specialize on the blue team side, leading activities within our Security Operations Center (SOC), from monitoring and detecting to responding to cybersecurity threats.
I worked closely with all the components of an effective MDR strategy, focusing in particular on producing detailed risk analysis reports and presenting comprehensive cybersecurity findings to clients.

Approach & Process

Within a few years, I became the youngest senior team member, gaining extensive experience in systems engineering and cybersecurity. Working with hundreds of clients across different industries, from public institutions and healthcare systems to multinational corporations, allowed me to build a versatile skill set and understand the unique needs of each environment.
My work helped the company double in size and revenue within just four years and led to its evolution into a joint-stock company.

Beyond my technical expertise, I deeply value teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous growth. I believe that technology is ultimately about enabling people to achieve more, safely and efficiently.

Outside of work, I love sports and have been active in various disciplines since I was a child. I enjoy spending time outdoors, support sustainable development, and dedicate part of my free time to studying new languages to connect with different cultures.
